I went for lunch with my girlfriends last weekend and wore a few new pieces that I picked up from ASOS recently - that 70% off sale always draws me in - a top, jeans and necklace.

We decided to go to a cosy pub and spend our afternoon together as we hadn't reunited in ages and a catch up was well and truly overdue! As always, it was an absolute pleasure to be in their company and we were reminiscing on our teenage years and cracking up at the things we used to get up to within minutes. After you leave school and go onto college then work or university it can be really difficult to maintain relationships and make time to see each other when you all lead busy lives, but I think it's so important to hold onto your true friendships. Seeing them again reminds me of what funny, gorgeous women they are and I feel so lucky to have - for over a decade, in some cases - called them my best friends.

Me too, they're so relaxed and nice! Thank you :) aww, I love it too - it was broken when it arrived :( but luckily I managed to fix it with pliers and ASOS gave me 10% off, so I was a happy bunny! x

Agreed! I borrow it all the time, thankfully she's nice and lets me :) absolutely, I'm such a foodie and going out for meals is one of my favourites. It's a shame that I couldn't eat anything due to being on the Whole 30 program though, I had to sip coffee instead haha! x

Thanks, Eleanor! I do too, I don't think I even own a pair of jeans that aren't - may need to do a spot of online shopping to sort that out... I love high waisted skirts too, in the Autumn I wear them with shirts and jumpers layered and thick tights with boots, so cosy x

DeleteI love a good girly catch up! It can be hard to find the free time as you get older (boo!) Lovely outfit :) I usually go for skinny jeans with a nice top and ballet flats, or ankle boots, depending on the British weather! Haha.
