Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stains - £7.99 - read my full review with swatches here
As these vibrant tubes of vivid colour that feel beautifully balmy have been sitting on my desk for the past few weeks just staring at me, I haven't been able to help myself from applying a slick of colour every so often despite doing nothing but working at my laptop. They've got a hold over me. 'Barcelona Nights' is a bright, berry pink that's beyond gorgeous whilst 'Cannes Crush' is like no coral I've seen - tinged with pink and almost neon, but soft at the same time - safe to say, they've both been getting a lot of love!
SEVENTEEN Doll'd Up Mascara - £6.29
I picked this up on a whim in Boots as it came with a free eyeliner - one of those 'dotting' contraptions that I still haven't got the hang of - and I've been really enjoying it ever since. Promising 'doll-like lashes', the curved plastic brush grabs every lash and it's almost impossible to clump which I adore as I can get a little heavy-handed when it comes to mascara. The result in a word is 'pretty' - fanned out, lengthened and all fluttery. Now that my tube is drying up I've found that it's incredible for the lower lashes - mine are super long and so I haven't worn mascara on them for years, but this creates such a nice, subtle effect and gives just enough definition. Another bonus? The affordable price tag. Ker-ching.
Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish in 'Ethereal' - £3.69 - read my post here
I confessed my love for this little beauty in its own post earlier this week, and I had to include it in my monthly favourites as it has been seriously pretty-ing up my hands and life. A simple, ballerina pink with a shell-like lilac and silver sheen running through it - love.
#daclip - anyone who reads Essie Button's blog or watches her YouTube channel will know what I'm talkin' 'bout. DA CLIP. Every woman needs one in her life. Long live da clip.
Baylis & Harding Jojoba, Silk & Almond Moisturising Shower Crème - £8
When I was in my first year of university, I used to 'splurge' on Baylis & Harding soap as they totally look more expensive than they are, am I right? My favourite was the Wild Rose & Raspberry Cleansing Hand Wash and for £6, I could have a bit of luxury every day in my en suite bathroom in my university halls for a fraction of the price of what I wanted to buy, which was Jo Malone. It's the little things. This body wash has been taking me back to those Freshers days and leaving me smelling like a bouquet of flowers whilst it's at it.
Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Lotion - £3.99 (currently on sale here for £2.66)
Body lotion is a product I'm a bit of a floozy about as my loyalties don't lie with a specific brand and there's no one product springing to mind that I've repurchased time and time again - but this might change that. Leaving the 'Coconut & Jasmine' and 'Pistachio' scents on the shelf, I added 'Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla' to my basket and to my surprise - it's really, really good and it really, really works! Usually I'm not too impressed by drugstore moisturisers but this one genuinely makes my skin feel softer for days on end, sinks in quickly and the scent is just heavenly. Dove have also introduced body washes to the Purely Pampering range, but what I've got my eyes on are the body oils. Come to mama.
Indeed Labs hydraluron moisture jelly - £24.99 (currently on sale for £16.66 here)
The weather in the UK recently has been absolutely scorchio and I have floor to ceiling windows in my bedroom - it's like a greenhouse, let me tell you. After cleansing and toning at night is the only thirty seconds of relief I get from 'perpetual hot face', and applying a moisturiser has been the last thing I've wanted to do. Enter this little gem with its beautiful gel-like formula! It feels cooling upon application and sinks in immediately, instantly hydrating and plumping my skin without feeling tacky and gross. Thank you, Indeed Labs!
Are any of my favourites your favourites, too? Which products have you loved with all of your heart throughout July?
Meg
Some of these products may have been sent to me for review purposes. My opinions are 100% honest.
I love the Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish, anything that dries quickly deserves an A+ in my books! :)

Mine too, Emma - I'm all about the fast drying polishes! It's so annoying when you've taken the time to carefully paint your nails and then they get smudged, the Rimmel ones dry in like 30 seconds <3 true love! x
DeleteHehe totally love the daclip as well! Such a great essie staple, lovely faves! x
ReplyDeleteJasmin Charlotte

DeleteHow is it August already is exactly what I'm wondering too! Time flies when you're not having fun... Daclip is literally my life saver
ReplyDeleteI know right, where has the year gone?! You'd think the hours would drag on being stuck in bed so much of the time but it's pretty much the opposite. So happy that you're a #daclip fan, too! x
DeleteLoving the pink beauty products so much and we can't wait to get our hands on those revlon lip colors!
ReplyDeletexx 365hangers

ReplyDeleteLyndsay | Fizzy Peaches
Thanks, Lyndsay! They're divine, I'm really loving applying a small amount and blending out with my finger at the moment x
DeleteI love Dove! I've not tried any of the new lotions yet, though. I see the pistachio 'flavour' always beind advertised. I wonder what it would smell like... pistachios don't really smell like anything do they? I like Seventeen's makeup, but they don't sell it in Canada and my Nan always sends over the wrong thing... I shouldn't complain, at least she sends something! Great post x
ReplyDeletehttp://littlecutouts.blogspot.com/
Me too, I'm currently using their shampoo, conditioner and deodorant also and I'm loving them all! I find their products really nourishing. Haha, I don't think so! I always hear about the Laura Mercier pistachio body cream though, so maybe it does smell of something? Who knows! Aww, that's so kind of your Nan :) you'll have to put in a special request for the 17 mascara - good luck! Thank you x
DeleteYou've picked some fab products! Love them all, really affordable too! <3
ReplyDeleteRecently picked up a bottle of Vaseline spray & go moisturiser which is amazing so light and absorbent, would recommend it!
Im new to the Blogging world haha, please take a look EmilyLDN.blogspot.com xx
Thanks, Emily! Ooh, I've been wanting to try that for so long as I suffer from ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) and moisturising my body is just another of those long, hard tasks that are hard for me to carry out - this seems like it'd be the perfect solution, thanks :) x
DeleteI so want to try some of the Revlon Moisture Stains, they sound amazing! xx

DeleteI really want to try the Revlon Colour Stains, I love the packaging so much!
ReplyDeleteThe Velvet Black // UK Style, Beauty and Lifestyle Blog
So pretty, isn't it? I think it looks so much more expensive than it is, like it could pass for Dior or something. It really nice and weighty too, which I really like. Hope you enjoy them as much as me, I'm loving 'Barcelona Nights' more and more by the day at the moment! x
DeleteOoh I really want to try the Doll'd Up mascara as I can be a little heavy handed with mascara too and end up with about 3 eyelashes in the end sometimes haha!
ReplyDeleteBeauty and Lifestyle Blog
xx
I feel your pain! I've been using a Clinique mascara and I actually think I prefer the Doll'd Up, it's much more separating and defining whereas I find the Clinique a little clumpy and hard to work with. Hope you like it if you do try it - for the price, you're not really any worse off if you only use it as a bottom lash mascara or for 'no makeup makeup' days anyway! x
DeleteThanks, Heather x
ReplyDeleteI soo need to try the hydroluron range, there's so much hype about them! x
ReplyDeleteBeauty Soup || UK Beauty Blog
I love them, this moisturiser is a good place to start if you're a newbie - or the serum, they're both amazing and so easy to slot into your routine x

Sophisticated In Style
Didn't it, I have no clue where the time goes anymore! Same here, Revlon is probably my favourite drugstore brand - I think their products seem so much more expensive than they really are, I love their lip products also! Must get my hands on some more of their Super Lustrous lipsticks x
